The heart sees what’s invisible to the eyes

She closes her eyes and keeps very still, waiting silently. Her heart longs for him and calls out to him as if he’s standing across the room. She reaches out to him with every hopeful ounce of her being, everything that she is. But this is no normal connection. She’s not calling for his body and he’s not standing across the room. She’s calling out for his soul. She yearns to connect with him on an energetic level, to the part of him that touches and reaches deep into her as nothing else can. He satisfies her in ways she didn't previously understand.

She waits, visualizing his facial expressions. Oh, how she longs to look into those penetrating eyes but she knows that will have to wait for a while though she believes it will not be as long an interim as it may seem. She knows that in soul-time it will transpire in a mere few breaths of god and is occurring in an eternal now.

Suddenly a burst of energy explodes from the center of her being. She feels it distinctly like a surge of high voltage electrical charge that jolts her body out of the stillness she tries to preserve. The heat slowly traveling along her body raises cooling goose pimples on the skin.

Everything in the room radiates with some sort of subtle energy swirling all around. She’s caught up in a vortex of emotion. Every inch of resistance fades as she leans back, allowing the force to pull her deep into the whirlpool. It’s like time unspooled, carrying her back to a point in the distant past. There’s an uncanny sense of familiarity, a peculiar feeling of Deja vu-like memories flooding back.

She could feel his unmistakable presence in the room. It’s been a while, she thought. Yet there’s nothing to say to each other. There is no need because words are unnecessary. They are connecting through the non-physical essence, through the unspoken language of emotions. She senses his being beside her. She lets out a sigh and squeezes her eyes shut, thinking about how unbelievably good this feels. The feeling is so powerful that it overtakes her being till she finds it impossible to ignore. She freezes. All the muscles in her thighs, belly, and bottom tense and quiver with potential energy transforming towards kinetic explosion.
