How to Read CSV and Select Rows in Pandas

As I mentioned in my earlier article, I will continue our series of articles on pandas by working with a broader data set in this article. This time, however, we will not create the database ourselves. We’re going to create a database out of an Excel file(CSV) that’s already on the Internet.

To create a dataframe from an already existing “Excel CSV” file, all we need to know is the location of that “CSV file in google drive. You can leave the rest to pandas by writing the following code.

As I said before, there are multiple ways to create a dataframe. To summarize the method we used in the code above:

As you can see in the output, we now have a dataframe with six columns (excluding the index) and we’re going to examine it now.
